Opis kursa:
The Doctoral program of the Department of Management Science and Technology is the largest in AUEB. Established in 1999, it numbers approximately 60 students, pursuing research in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, Financial Engineering, Information Systems, Knowledge Management, Transport management, e-Business, m-Business, Software Engineering etc.

Our Doctoral Program aims at creating world-class research output, establishing a reservoir of knowledge, and further enhancing the reputation of AUEB and of our program for academic excellence and industrial relevance.

The objectives of the Doctoral Program include:

  • The production of world-class scholars in Business Administration, with a synergetic combination of competencies in research, teaching and the application of Decision Technology to strategic problems in Management Science, Electronic Business, Logistics and Transport, Financial Engineering, and related areas.
  • The enhancement of the faculty's research output and international impact by making regular contributions to the top Journals in Management, Electronic Business, Logistics and Transport and Financial Engineering.
  • The enhancement of the reputation of AUEB and DS for academic excellence and relevant research, and the establishment of AEUB as a natural recruiting ground for Academia and Industry.
  • The establishment of a critical mass of expertise in Management Science, Electronic Business, Logistics and Transport and Financial Engineering and the leveraging of this knowledge in the program's teaching and applied research.
