The chemical engineering graduate is an expert with a university interdisciplinary background, capable of performing the executive design of processes and of process equipment, process and product development, control and optimization of plants and processes, operation of manufacturing plants, maintenance and management of production divisions as well as the technical supervision of activities related to safety and environmental protection.
This Course requires a full time attendance and involves both classroom and laboratory activities
As specified in the didactic regulations, 180 credits are required to obtain the degree (first level). More specifically, for the basic courses (mathematics, physics, chemistry, informatics) 50 credits are required, for distinguishing courses (chemical engineering thermodynamics, transport phenomena, chemical plant design, chemical processes) at least 70 credits are required; for other courses and activities 30 credits are required; 17.5 credits are required for a stage and for the final exam.
