In particular, the goal is to train a professional engineer able to effectively operate, within the competences set by the law, in different fields such as: - designing of complex building systems, including technological, structural, environmental aspects, with special attention paid to comfort, service life, energy and environmental impact issues; - development of the building process, in its operative, economic and managerial aspects; - managing technological and production processes related to the building sector (new and existing buildings), with special attention paid to safety issues; - technology innovation; - testing and quality controls of products and buildings.

This Course requires a full time attendance and involves classroom and laboratory activities

As specified in the didactic regulations, 120 credits are required to obtain the degree (first level). Three specialization areas are present: - Design; - Management; - Refurbishment. In general courses fall in the following areas: - Architectural Design - Architectural History - Building Durability and Maintenance - Building Materials - Building Pathology and Diagnostics - Building Physics - Building Services System Design - Refurbishment and Conservation - Structural Design - Structural rehabilitation and consolidation - Technological Design - Urban Design
